Scored a 1TB hard drive off an old Hikvision DVR yesterday. Found some loose cables in the old desktop PC I was also gifted. Connected it up, jammed it in a place it probably shouldn't be, partitioned and mounted it. It's not pretty, but it's a free terabyte, so I'll take it.
