Overnighter starting tomorrow. map

Day One

Dump bikes at Aspiring Hut --> Cascade Saddle --> Dart Track --> Snowy Creek --> Lochnager (Camp)

Day Two

PLAN A Mt Tyndall --> Cascade Saddle --> Aspiring Hut (pick up bikes) --> Carpark

PLAN B Lake Creek --> Shotover River --> Tummel Burn Hut --> Shotover Saddle --> Aspiring Hut (pick up bikes) --> Carpark

With a mate. Coming up Mt Tyndall from the south is probably not possible. Will get a glimpse Saturday and attempt Sunday. If no good we will return to Lochnager and exit SE along Lake Creek for a shorter return trip over Shotover River. We're looking at 50-60km and 5,000m elevation gain. Grunty.

Weather looking good. Stronger winds in afternoon to morning but we'll be out of it by then.

Challenge Wanaka on, closing road out, so have to get out there before 5am. Will have plenty of day in that case. Sleep now.
