New browser

I'm not one to read into tech schemozzle too much, I just get the gist - Microsoft is shit, Google is shit, Apple is shit. They steal data blah blah blah. I went to Firefox because... well... Edge is Microsoft and Chrome is Google, and there's something shit about Chromium?, Brave has some affiliation with cryptocurrency and is Chromium, Vivaldi is Chromium, and Firefox seemed like the best alternative. Linux Lads use it too, and they rip on Mozilla every week, so it can't be the shittest thing in the world. Anyway, that's what I've been using for a while.

I'm not blind to more schemozzle appearing about Firefox terms of use now not being so great in terms of privacy. I honestly don't really have anything very private that I give a shit about so wasn't doing much about it (or still really understand what the big whoop is about), but a 30-second read of 720p's I guess it's time to stop using Firefox post in my feed reader, triggered me to take action, because they had a conscientious link to the LibreWolf website and one click later to their Installation page and 30 seconds of copy-pasting installation commands I had it installed. It came pre-installed with the uBlock-Origin plugin - I just quickly installed Bitwarden, Google Sign-in Popup Blocker and Dark Mode Website Switcher and honestly I don't even recognise the difference between Firefox or LibreWolf... My bookmarks are stored locally in buku so didn't have to faff with that.

Took me like 2 minutes. Not sure why exactly this stuff is better but I'm probably being less spied on so all is good.

Thank you to all the people who kindly research this stuff properly and write about it. It's been enough for me to switch. I'm aware there's probably some issue with LibreWolf being a fork of Firefox, and maybe the seperation will become too much in the future, but for now I feel like I'm pretty up to speed with the browser-wars.
