Fresh dump of interesting and/or useful web links I've found recently. Full link stash here.

This week: It's official. I'm a geek. There's a bit of infosec stuff again. I'm still learning a lot in this space. Felt like I've been in "consuming mode". Flicking through these sites are my version of doom scrolling... I don't have a solid end goal to it all, but it does help me pick up on the "language" a little better. Dots will join later down the track. When I see things like Mitre ATT&CK for the first time I realise just how big and broad infosec is.

310. OpenCASE Framework
A set of cybersecurity specifications and guidelines for small businesses. Nice framework to assess yourself against and set some goals and targets.
TAGS: framework, infosec, small-business, sysadmin

309. Debian How-Tos | Siberoloji
Tips and tricks for system and network administration. This page is specific to Debian, but the site covers much more.
TAGS: debian, how-to, infosec, sysadmin

308. Mitre ATT&CK
A big knowledge base of cyber attack techniques. Each technique includes a procedure example, mitigations and detection strategies. The language used is very digestable, and the examples are eye-opening. Thoroughly enjoying flicking through. Well referenced for diving in deeper to news articles, indictment documents, tools used and more.

307. Project Awesome
I don't know how or where "awesome lists" appeared, but I'm loving them. Great for diving into a subject.

306. We Chall
User ranking and resource page for hacking challenges. Just using to explore some options for now. May use as a motivator and progress logger later.
TAGS: education, hacking, infosec, wargames

305. 247CTF
Broad range of challenges to learn some skills. Some are downloadable so encourage running on virtual machines, which in itself is a skill I want to learn. The list on the dashboard looks incredibly fun to chip away at.

304. Mondo 2000 Archive
Digitised backlog of the 80s-90s cyberculture magazine Mondo 2000. Just flicking through some of the issues has some great reading. Found some good interviews (eg Frank Miller), and music reviews. Awesome rabbit hole. Love the style too. Very ziney.

303. How Gemini Gives me Hope for a Future Internet | Steve Simkins
A nice reminder why the Gemini protocol rocks. I too don't see it as a replacement of the web as we know it, but a bloody great place to meander when needing a rest from that web. It always brings me a sense of peace in there.

302. ร˜ษ„โ‚ฎโ‚ดล‚ฤษ†
New techy retro webring by HisVirusness. Only three in there now, but the styling of them are all bangers.
