Work Christmas doo. Hunting venison. Was really good fun. Good hiking too. New appreciation for hunting. Got myself a red spiker from 180m. Took home some backstraps and a heart. The rest is being hung and processed. Will be nice to have the freezer full.

We did a lot of observing too. Here we watched a mother and fawn watching us. Fawn was too young for mother to scurry away. We left them in peace.

Views of the Rees River. Lake Reid below left. We were on private land on the Eastern face of Mt Alfred which was a great opportunity. Unfortunately we didn't get up to the ridge to get the view of both Dart and Rees, but it was still an awesome spot.
